Events
We often host and attend concerts, festivals, workshops, and events. Here are some of our favorites over the years!
Ribbon Festival
Southeast Texas Suzuki Association
The annual STXSA Ribbon Festival gives students a chance to perform solos and ensembles in front of a panel of judges. You will get critiques from the judges on what you can improve and what they liked, and afterwards receive a medal for your performance.
Summer & Winter Concerts
We host two concerts a year for our students to showcase what they've learned. One in the Summer, and one in the Winter. We will perform many pieces as a group, and everyone will have solos and ensembles. Afterwards, we have a social hour with a potluck and games for everyone to play with their families and friends.
Spring & Fall Workshop
Southeast Texas Suzuki Association
At these workshops you will attend several classes covering a verity of topics relating to your craft, and at the end of the day there will be a group concert to show what you have learned. It is a great experience and a chance to learn from new teachers and friends.
Themed Concerts and Events
Throughout the year we attend different special holiday events. These often have seasonal pieces and themes to go along with the holiday. They are a lot of fun and we always have a great time and make new friends.
